Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) is an increasingly relevant aspect of end-of-life care for medical practitioners. Understanding the legal, ethical and professional considerations associated with VAD is essential for safely navigating jurisdictional requirements.

This pre-webinar CPD activity is designed to prepare participants for the live MIPS webinar “Voluntary assisted dying (VAD): ethical, legal and clinical perspectives for medical practitioners”. It includes 0.5-hours of CPD under the educational activity category, followed by a 1.5-hours Reviewing Performance CPD activity.

Participants will work through two hypothetical clinical scenarios and complete guided self-reflection questions to evaluate their knowledge, confidence and approach to VAD-related care.
