Anxiety about finance can affect people throughout their lives, even when they have high incomes which is common for healthcare practitioners. However, budgeting can reduce anxiety and pave the way for people to understand how they can invest for the future and achieve dreams such as home ownership and retirement. The intention of this module is to establish or cement a foundation for financial security and provide confidence to spend freely and save wisely.
This education module has three topics each of which takes 15-20 minutes to complete.
- Topic 1: Setting your financial goals and objectives
- Topic 2: Preparing a budget
- Topic 3: Preparing a cash flow statement and calculating net worth
